Message I would go to [ http://www.300zx.lv/parts/ ] for the parts checklist..

So basically you need a new rod bearings, main bearings, (have you checked the crank journals?)

I know you say that you didn't want to do any performance upgrade build.. but this is a perfect opportunity to get a performance upgrade done. Since it takes quite a bit of work to get into the internals and do all that. You dont have to go FULL ON BUILD right now.. but atleast (IMO) take advantage of the bad situation and make it benifit you! (Turn that frown upside down , type thing :) Just get the internals done and run it on stock turbos for now etc.

You may find it that it might actually be cheaper to go with performance parts as well.

maybe you should try to get ahold of Russell @ z1. He is alwasy really helpful to me and he would know exactly what parts are in the rebuild kits, since they offer them on the site.

let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

NO, This picture is not photoshopped. It took many times to take this picture. Setting up the timer, shutter speed etc, then jumping on my bike and getting the tire to spin.
